JOSE JORDAN & ASSOCIATES is a law firm that was created by Jose R. Jordan and Anastasia Jordan, husband and wife. The firm prides itself in providing honest and superior legal services. Our aim is to assist the community by helping people achieve the American Dream of United States residency, citizenship, freedom, and justice. We concentrate in Immigration, Criminal law, and Personal Injury cases. The Immigration department is operated by attorney Jose Jordan. Alberto Consejo, Esq. is head of the Personal Injury section.

Jose Jordan, Esq.
Managing Partner- Immigration Division
Jose R. Jordan is a Guatemalan born immigrant who understands the undocumented person’s struggle. He immigrated to the United States at an early age and continues to fight for the American Dream. He obtained two Bachelor’s degrees from California State University of Los Angeles in Prelaw Political Science and Liberal Studies. He continued his education by obtaining a Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law. Jose continued to work in the legal field during his entire education and understands the importance of a strong work ethic.
Mr. Jordan’s immigration experience began as a paralegal in 2012 and continued through various positions at some of the top immigration law firms in Los Angeles, California. Jose has exclusively worked in the immigration field and concentrates on non-citizens with criminal background. Ensuring that every immigrant achieves the American Dream regardless of what small mistakes they may have made. Immigration is more than just a job, it is a passion that gives Mr. Jordan purpose. Jose has made his life’s purpose to give immigrants from all countries the ability to become citizens of this great country. Aside from running his own law firm, Attorney Jose Jordan has continued his involvement with the community by volunteering for the Hollywood Education and Literacy Project (H.E.L.P), Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS), Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, and the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project. Jose continues to inform the public through his radio shows, podcasts, and in personal seminars.
Anastasia Jordan, Esq.
Founding Partner – Immigration Division
Anastasia Jordan is a founding partner at Jose Jordan & Associates. Prior to co-founding JJ&A, Anastasia was an associate at a boutique family law firm in Cerritos specializing in spousal support, child support, child custody, and domestic violence. While there, Anastasia gained valuable experience both inside and outside of the courtroom. As a First Generation American and advocate of immigrant rights, Anastasia wanted to incorporate her passion for family law with her interest in immigration law. Now, her practice focuses exclusively on family-based immigration law.
Prior to graduating from Southwestern Law School, Anastasia clerked for the Honorable Marc D. Gross at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California. Anastasia also worked with the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, Children’s Law Center, and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, providing low cost legal services for clients in Los Angeles. While at Southwestern Law School, Anastasia served as a Dean’s Fellow and was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Anastasia was also awarded Southwestern’s Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship and the Stephen L. Kolodny Family Law Bridge Scholarship. Anastasia graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in History and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles, graduating in the top 10% of her class. In her free time, Anastasia enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, husband, and three rescue dogs.
Albert Consejo, Esq.
Managing Partner- Personal Injury Division
Attorney Consejo is the managing partner of the Personal Injury Unit. He represents people in Personal Injury cases against insurance companies. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Consejo has dedicated his representation exclusively to advocate for Plaintiffs. His experience ranges from taking consultations, intakes, pre-litigation settlement, and trials.
Mr. Consejo proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2009. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked for a private security firm for seven (7) years providing executive protection to influential and high-profile clients. After deciding to transition careers, Albert went on to receive his Bachelor’s from Cal State Los Angeles and his Juris Doctorate from Glendale University College of Law. Mr. Consejo had years of legal experience before becoming an attorney. Albert’s use of common sense drawn from life experiences in various fields allows him to solve problems associated with his practice and resolve issues for his clients. He currently lives in Duarte and loves to spend time with his wife and kids.
Karla Rahimi, Esq.
Associate Attorney- Immigration Division
Karla graduated from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California with a concentration in Children’s Rights. Karla clerked for the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles, where she advocated for the rights of children with open Child Protective Services cases, and Costa Mesa’s Special Education clinic, where she advocated the educational needs of children and protected their constitutional right to receive a free and appropriate public education. Karla was elected president of the Women’s Law Student Association in 2015.
Upon graduating from law school, Karla moved to Texas. Karla is a former Legal Aid Line Attorney for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas where she counseled indigent clients across a variety of substantive areas of civil litigation and administrative law. With the passion to provide legal aid to marginalized communities, Karla began working for an immigration law firm in Texas that prompted her move back to California to work for Jose Jordan & Associates, a leading immigration firm in Los Angeles County. Karla says, “As a naturalized US citizen born in Mexico, I am honored to help my community achieve the American dream.” In her free time, Karla spends time with her husband and two children. Karla’s hobbies include painting.
